Italian and Italian Studies
This course is designed to improve your ability to autonomously speak and write in Italian at an elementary level on various topics, from basic routine tasks to popular, historical, and practical aspects of Italy’s culture. It builds on what you have learned in Beginning Italian I and completes the range of grammar and cultural topics that an independent speaker should know. It is based on four weekly 50-minute sessions (3 with me and one with my TA), and you are strongly encouraged to spend a minimum of one hour of study outside of class each day on the material presented in class.
