Bioinformatics is now an essential tool in biological research. This course will introduce you to the fundamental concepts and techniques of bioinformatics, providing you with the skills to analyze biological data and address important research questions. You'll gain hands-on experience in analyzing DNA and protein sequences to identify genes, predict protein function, and investigate evolutionary relationships. You'll also learn how to use bioinformatics tools to design cloning experiments, predict the 3D structure of proteins, and explore the vast amount of information stored in biological databases.
