This course focuses on the development of narrative and expository writing and presentations abilities in Spanish through the study of different types of texts/cultural products (letters, reviews, short stories, films, and podcasts) and the practice of prewriting and writing skills in Spanish. The emphasis of the course is on writing as a process and as a form of critical inquiry. By the end of the semester, we expect that you will improve your ability to communicate in writing and orally in Spanish both clearly and effectively, so you will be able to either undertake more advanced courses in Spanish, or use these skills at a later point in your professional lives.
