Students are encouraged to experiment with various drawing media and to explore the relationships between media, techniques and expression. Each student will strive to develop a personal approach to drawing while addressing fundamental issues of pictorial space, structure, scale, and rhythm. Students will work from observation, conceptual ideas and imagination. Course includes drawing projects, individual and group crits, slide lectures, and a museum visit.
